could anyone help me out with the torque settings for the M30b35 headbolts (original head bolts used)

First pass:
60 Nm [43 ft-lb] (wait 20 minutes) Second pass: 80 Nm [58 ft-lb] (install the remainder of the engine components, start and run the engine while warm for 25 minutes, then allow the block to completely cool down) Third pass : 35° using a torque angle protractor and / or DIY compass card

I was under the impression that new bolts needed to be used and the threads in the holes needed to be chased with a tap as well.

Agree. Just didn't know if OP knew he should use new bolts. I would hate for him to screw up a HG if he didn't know.

Thanks guys, at first i did not no that you had to use new head bolts but when i was researching it i found that out . Sorry to say i had only replaced two of the bolts at the time the car was being worked on with new ones.
