i have a MK3 sat nav in my 2002 x5. i would like to update my european map. how can i do this. do i need to replace the unit for a MK 4 unit or can i get new maps.

What version is your unit? I'm assuming your a CD not a DVD.

It's my understanding that your mk3 model's version is out dated to allow the new V32 for the new maps, might be as simple as updating your firmware, but I'm not sure if it requires the MK4 unit only as it's the updated model. I could be wrong...?
