X5 Odometer

I'm looking to buy an X5 3d exec sport with 71000km but a bit concerned about odometer and hit and miss service history. Is there any way I can tell whether odometer has been manipulated? Could any manipulation be detected via professional inspection? Thanks

If it was rolled back properly (i.e. all respective modules were updated), then no. Sloppy jobs would result in mileage mismatch, dot on the odometer, etc.

Thanks, that's consistent with a garage I spoke to .....easy to do and difficult to spot if done properly. No red dot.
