Oyster / Black interior ... Does it really stain that easily?

I'm looking at a new dark gray with oyster black 740. Is the seat staining really that big of an issue. Thx!

My 2011 X5 35d had the oyster black interior. AWESOME!! Jeans and most clothing transfer colour to the oyster easily!!! But literally 60 seconds with a Lexol wipe once a week...and all gone. I would do oyster/black again in a heartbeat!!!

So, does this mean that all clothes / jeans do this to the seats or that sometimes, if my wife is wearing new jeans this will occur? Thanks!

I needed to do a wipe down of the seat botton, side bolsters and sometimes the seat back 1, maybe 2 times a week. I kept a jar of Lexol pre-moistened wipes in the garage. Literally a minute or less, 1-2x a week. SO easy. And yes, it seemed no matter if my pants & shirts were brand new or washed 50x, I had to clean dye transfer off my oyster leather. Very little maintenance, but must be done. I LOVED my oyster & black interior!!

Here is/was my 2011 X5 35d )

Oyster/Black is good-looking as well as functional. I has this interior (nappa leather) in my 7 Series and never had a problem with stains or blemishes.
