2007 650i Coupe.... is it LCI?

I figured it would be around somewhere already via search, but couldn't find anything to help me out.

How do I know if my 2007 650i Coupe is LCI or not? I didn't realize there were 2 models, until I looked at caliper covers etc, they ask if its LCI or not.. how can I tell?

MY 2007: No.
Manufactured 2007: Maybe. Check the build month. If it is 9/2007 or earlier, it's a MY 2008 and IS LCI.

LCI = Life Cycle Impulse update

Pre-LCI is typically through MY 2007 and LCI (post-LCI) is typically MY 2008 through MY2010 models.

I'm guessing your's is pre-LCI (like my 2007), but there are some really easy dead give aways - mainly lighting:

• 1st 2 photos are pre-LCI with orange reflectors on the side of the headlights, orange turn signals above head lights (seen through clear plastic), and lower rear 3rd brake light.
  
• 2nd 2 photos are LCI with silver reflectors on the side of the headlights, silver looking turn signal lights above the head lights, and rear 3rd brake light has moved north on the trunk / deck lid.

If I've missed something or mistated anything, please someone jump in here and correct me.

There's all sorts of other stuff as well including the interior, rear bumper lights, fog lights, etc. but trying to point out a few of the quick visual clues.

Take a picture of the front of your car so that we can see your headlights clearly. The only difference is that the eyebrow above your headlights look checkerboard on the LCI since they are LED's. I think some other differences in the back. Anyway, we can tell you definitively based on that photo.

It is funny to me that that they ask whether you are LCI or not since I don't think it has anything to do with the calipers. I would take a look at both versions of caliper covers and the corresponding part numbers. Dollars to donuts they are the same covers for both. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

mine is LCI. Have a look at the LED tail lights too. Shifter knob gives it away. If its the ugly stick ones, then its pre LCI
