Imola Red '89 325i

Bought my first e30 back in june.

the pictures that follow are its current condition as well as how it looked when i brought it home.

when i bought the car the drivers seat was held up by a tire. the passengers seat was ripping to shreds, dash was cracked to sh!t. glove box had no latch, drivers side speaker cover still missing and the under dash cover was cracked in two. i have the passengers side door latch but wont be putting it in as my window motor or regulator or something is making a huge noise when it is raised all the way, like a grinding gear noise. carpet looks like it hasnt been cleaned in five years, car was smoked in so pretty much new interior is going in. and the car is rusting in so many places. it has seen hail so there are dents every where. driver door window gasket or guide, im not sure, is ripped, pictures to follow and request to identify it correctly so i can buy a new one. car had no power steering or ac belts, still looking for ac belt, cant find one that fits. my PS belt is 10x825 so im looking for something between 815 and 820. any suggestions? also need new rear bumper mounts as my bolts have seized and rusted. sun roof crank missing but i have raised it with a wrench. driver side of the sun roof is rusted, faulty gasket to blame. looking to put in power sunroof. shifter bushings non existent. will be upgrading with Z3 shifter and bushings will be upgraded.

upside is the engine is a relatively good M20. Made it from Missoula Montana to Snoqualmie Pass washington on 12 gallons of gas. thats 432 miles. is this the Eta? clutch and rear diff are good and so are the brakes. looking to put in a 4.10 LSD, suggestions?

i checked the suspension and the rear shocks need to be replaced, they hit hard going over concrete driveways. front end has rust on the tie rods. doesnt appear to leak oil but bottom end is wet and looks to be covered in grease/mud/oil. has rough idle and the plugs appear to be wet with oil. will be preforming leak down and comp tests soon.

if the test are bad, i will look for and s38b38 engine and six speed manual.

sorry about the long post. been busy slowly working on the car for the past month. it will be going to a body shop some time in august. once my new valences come in.

any suggestions are welcome as to what else i should replace/upgrade.

Tore the carpet out on the 4th. Found more rust and a decent hole right by the gas pedal mount. drivers side carpet sill broke during removal, passenger side came up without issue.
waiting on body parts to arrive. they were due today but FEDEX freight has an issue of not dropping stuff off when no one is home. anywho more pics

for the picture of the window, is that the window guide im missing?
also what do you guys think of the seats?

also looking to get 15x8 enkei92 black, tire size recommendation? i have been all over the net and cant find the tire i want in the correct size.
