Retrofit Paddleshift successfully coding (and more)

Hi,
I coded my f07 535i with PSZDATA x 50.2.
Some encodings successfully, sometimes not, but with interesting results.

Retrofit Paddleshift (very easy):
SZL->3000->Lenkrad_ShaftPaddles->Aktive (default "not Aktive")
Result: Perfect!

HU_CIC->3000 HMI -> EFF_DYN_SPORT_CID -> aktiv / Werte=01
Ok, Sport Display is present, power in KW,NM (range 0-320 - 0-640), my peak power 220kw

U_CIC -> 3000 HMI -> EFF_DYN_SPORT_UNIT ->aktiv / Werte=01
Partial Ok, unit screen is present but can not be set.

KOMBI -> 3008 PIA_Einheiten -> LEISTUNG -> PS
NOT Functionaly. Ok, in sport display the unit is PS (cv, i'm in italy) but the value indicate is always kw (peak power always 210).
I think this item change only the text but not the unit represented.
Question for those who say that it worked: Are you sure? is pointing to the correct values?

HU_CIC -> 3000 HMI -> EFF_DYN_SYS_CID -> aktiv / Werte=01
Not OK. In my car all values ***8203;***8203;related to the eco menu were already active.
But I have no display efficient dynamics.
(my car "sport-normal" switch, without ECO PRO)

KOMBI -> 3000 Anzeige Konfiguration -> SPA_SPORT_ENABLE -> aktiv / Werte=01
Not OK. I see only "DS".

KOMBI -> 3000 -> Anzeige_Konfiguration ->BC_DIGITAL_V
OK

for units in the sport display I think we need to work on the CIC:
U_CIC -> 3000 HMI -> EFF_DYN_SPORT_UNIT
plus other options to find and edit.
"KOMBI -> 3008 PIA_Einheiten -> LEISTUNG -> PS" is not a solutions.

I retrofitted the whole steering wheel with the paddels.
As far as I know, you canīt get the paddles without the wheel.
Mine is a F11 of 2010_11

Thx _lkk
Works perfect with 47.5 (12-07-533). I changed today on my F11 the sport-steering-wheel wo paddles to M-style-steering-wheel w paddles.

The wheel itself for paddles is different to the wheel without paddles, there are additional mounting brackets inside and a free zone for the paddles.
Although Paddles alone are acquirable but it doesn't help.

Regards

I wonder if you can code push/pull paddles to function as pull/pull.

For F30; extra wires are needed between FEM_BODY to Steering Wheel

Hi everyone.

Quick question to the F07 people who've successfully retrofitted paddle shift.

What type of gearbox do you have? Is it the SAT Auto, or the standard one?

I've got the standard one in my 530d GT, and have bought an M-Sport wheel with paddles. Some Non F07 people are saying if I don't have the SAT gearbox then I'll need to hard wire the the paddles to the SZL module, whereas some (such as ShawnSherian ) say it's just coding.

Obviously I'm hoping it's just coding, but I'm yet to have it confirmed by an F07 owner that the paddle shift wheel and just coding works.

Looking forward to hearing from someone......

Thanks.

SAT Auto comes with the paddles. There would never be a need to retrofit paddles into car with factory SAT Auto.

And the 8-Speed Automatic Transmission is the same in either car. All that is different is the paddles and the gear shifter itself.

You only need to wire the paddles, if they are not working, and that is for F2x and F3x cars. Yours are working. There is nothing more to do.

Does anyone know exactly how the wiring for F3x cars work?
Which wires are necessary? And where to pin in?
