This has nothing to do with your personal taste or feeling, I am simply pointing out a fact. It would seem a stretch to call those former Bimmer drivers wrong or clueless for choosing the ATS. Maybe some of you intentionally try to sound like a *********, or show your arrogance, to get more people to reinforce their stereotype of the Bimmer drivers and stay away, so that you can gain some exclusivity driving the F30 around.

Who knows, maybe it's working.

When it comes to reliability issues, a lot of those left BMW due to reliability experiences too. It is fair to say if you want a fun car in this segment, lease it or trade it in before the warranty expires.

Speaking of Buick, Verano has enjoyed some surprising successes since it's introduction, and is likely taking some serious bite out of all the entry level luxury market shares.
if you think what I just describe by siting the FED and government with respect to the economy is politics then I guess you and I have nothing to talk about.

And its not the reliability issue I am siting dude, its the overall quality deterioration of the product, not to mention depreciation.

If you believe free market alone can solve our economic problems, when all of our competitors have their own "FED" and government deep in bed with their businesses, then I have a bridge to sell you.

If you are driving a Lexus, then you may throw depreciation around, but not BMW. Besides, most people lease, so it is not much a factor. Just remember, Caddillac is at the top of the service department satisfaction list, BMW is at the bottom, according to the latest JD Power survey.

I actually have no problem with my 328i service and repair, it has been a very satisfying experience, but I don't use it in such discussions, because we are not here to find reliability or resale value, try Lexus if you do.

I was bored today so I went to test drive the 2.0 ATS to find out first hand, and from a layman's point of view what all this hoopla was about. Posted my quick review here: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...&postcount=702
