weird noise started 2 days ago..

check this out guys. Could it be my alternator?
I just changed my tensioners pulleys and the belt(i thought that was it ...)

Noise was back...







PS my engine light is on due to 0492 code.

Open up your hood and take another video, My alt was knocking from the drivers side low.

I cant really tell from the video you shot.

You suck at taking videos....just kidding

Anyway, it sounds like either the belts, belt driven bearings components or CCV'S.

Thread below should get you started with the troubleshooting.

Get a spray bottle and spray on the belt and see if it amplifies/ reduces the noise.

Yea, I like when he gets out of the car and runs to the hood, noise stops and we get the oh $h1t comment!

My alt didn't have the high pitched squealing, but had a lower knocking sound, like the rods were hitting the heads. And it didn't go away.
