Halos staying on even after car is shut off

Just got an 02 M3. Walked into the garage after the car had been sitting there a few hours and noticed the halos were still on. I've tried everything to shut it off. Locked the doors, turned the lights back on, then off, but nothing. Is there a button i accidentally pushed somewhere on the car?

Sounds like there is a good chance the car has aftermarket angel eyes which are wired in a strange manner. I'd checking the wiring coming from them to see what is being used as the "on" switch.

I said the same thing at first, but then decided to clarify what he meant my halos.

If angel eyes, they are NOT stock and who knows how they were wired.

I have my EAS Aurora angel eyes wired into the back of my glove compartment. They come on and off with the interior lights. There should also be another wire spliced into your DCU for daytime running lights, or always on.... Sometimes after I lock my door, they will stay on even with interior lights off, but they'll shutoff after my relay deenergizes. Never heard of them always staying on. You should be able to open your DCU cover, and see where it's wired. Maybe the ground and lead are wired both to the battery terminal?

Halos didn't come stock, I bet there is a switch somewhere. Look for wires coming out of the back of your headlight housing and trace them.
