Just joined the 335d club
Hey all,
Just joiined your ranks with the purchase of a 2011 demo 335d and it's awesome. It's black on black, premium package, only 9k miles, fast as h*ll, and I got 35 mpg cruising at 74 mph on the highway back home. I love this car. Glad to find a forum. |

Forgot to say: be sure to monitor the E90 forum, as there is a ton of non-diesel-specific info on our cars there.

Outstanding vehicle for sure.Although I love my Bluetec I still miss my "d" in many, many ways.Over time you'll learn to take it easy with the "go" pedal (for obvious reasons) and one bit of advice for you is do *not* allow anyone but yourself to put fuel in it.Of course if,by chance, this isn't your first diesel you already know that.

I'm up in Central FL, Flyingman. But I did drive all the way to West Palm to pick up the car. It was an awesome ride home on I95! I will post some pics soon. Thanks.
btw Does the radio get easier to operate? I'm still challenged even after reading the radio guide.

I have my favorite channels set up and basically just bounce back and forth between about 2 or 3 channels.

I've had my D over a year and the radio still baffles me. Recent emissions recall reflash was enjoyable, took me back to ground zero, all presets and preferences gone. Can be too upset as the car is totaly awesome to drive.

Yes I would have lost all my presets too on the DME update except my dealer actually wrote them all down, then manually put them back in after the update
![]() I know becasue they left the paper with the info written down in the car. And the presets for the other key (wife of course) were gone when she used it. I did set up a long favorites list (which they put back in), but really do not use it. I've just programmed my handful of favorite stations on the configurable buttons. |

I use the "digital" approach. On or Off!
