I have the above car with the M Sport package. I checked the pdf and it shows a Sport button at the base of the gear shift. Mine doesn't have that. Does that mean I don't have the ability for the three modes (eco, comfort, & sport) or is it the gear shift moving from M/S? I am looking at an X3 and the button is clearly marked (and works well). Not sure about my car.

Thanks

Ah...not to diss you, but do you have an owner's manual? I'm quite sure you have those three driving options...just sayin.

I was at work when I posted the initial question and all I had was the pdf. I assumed it was a pdf of the manual so I was preparing a smart a$$ answer. I have used the manual before, more than any other car, appliance, program before. I checked the manual when I got home and so far it appears to be an exact printout of the pdf I have. The manual shows the same sport button on the lower half of the gear selector which I don't have.

The gear selector M / S selector works very well and there is a lot of zip. I assume that is it. I will ask the dealer the next time I am in, but I thought I would check the forum and see what other people thought.

Thanks
