Smile Unable to open passenger door x5

Hi Had an experience of when my son tried pulling on door handle as I was activating central locking, resulting in being unable to open door from outside or inside. Having read many stories of this apparent problem with X5's, I was expecting a large bill to fix the problem, one of them as to how to get door panel off. However, this may be of help to anyone else who experiences anything similar. I just repeated what had caused the problem. I pulled on door handle as the central locking was activated. This opened the door and got the lock working again. May be worth a try before having to cause damage at some cost.
