What do you do with your older cars? How do you deal with sales tax on sale? Or do you lease and have people take over the lease??? Next time do go to Poland, Wroclaw, Krakow, Warsaw can be skipped.

Now you are asking too much. If I tell you I am going have to .....
I trade my cars in so I only have to pay taxes on the difference of sale and purchase price. I do not lease since there is not a one year lease. I finance thru Pentagon Federal Credit Union.

Hopefully I am not too late in making my comments.

I would definitely go to Wien but then also visit other parts of Austria which are quite beautiful.

As you know, many people doing European Delivery have visited the Wachau region of Niederösterreich, esp. Dürnstein. Another possibility is to drive to the Burgenland (our youngest province) and enjoy a very different Austria there, more agricultural, and more flat. Eisenstadt is the home of Haydn, the site of a late summer concert series incidentally, and Rust was always a favorite weekend destination for me.

You can also hop across the border into Hungary.

See Yale Braunstein´s article, What´s Doing in Eisenstadt, for details on the region.

Hi JSpira, thank you for your bias opinion . I have decided to experience Switzerland from the first time since I have been going thru almost every time but never stayed.

Please fell free to comment on my tentative itinerary.
Munich to Lauterbrunnen staying 3 nights
Lauterbrunnen to Geneva 2 nights
Geneva to Cernobbio (Lake Como) 3 nights (Day trip by train to Milan)
Cernobbion to Luzern 2 Nights
Luzern to Munich 2 nights
Munich to London (by plane stop over) 3 nights

Any recommendations for hotels in Geneva, Cernobbio and Luzern?

Thanks again to everyone's contribution.
