Lighting Upgrade

I'm looking for suggestions on how to improve the lighting on my '88 635Csi. I think my headlight bulbs are 9005/9006. Has anyone found a plug in replacement bulb that improves the performance of the headlights? I understand there are also bulbs that can replace the rear bulbs to increase their brightness. Does anyone have a source and specifics?
