2013 328xi leftover price?

My wife needs a new car and she only drives 10 miles 2 days a week. Several dealers around us have leftover 2013's mostly equipped with Nav, Sport Package, Cold Weather. MSRP around 50K. They seem to all have been punched in Dec so there will be less scheduled maint and they are discounting agressively - one dealer is offering 12k under MSRP. What should I pay for these cars? is 12k the bottom of the barrel?

Would be interested in hearing people's thoughts on this as well. I'd imagine they'd be willing to deal pretty hard considering any new orders are MY15?

Paying cash? Sales support for these cars has ended, meaning that you will not get favorable lease rates or financing rates if you go through BMWFS. OTOH PenFed or another lender may offer you great terms.

Make sure you are comfortable with the 2013's technology. Among other things, they will have the old-style iDrive controller without the touch pad. I find the touchpad extremely useful. YMMV.

I can concur on 2014 iDrive. It's WAY faster, and the touchpad works remarkably well. I have a 2013, and my buddy just got a 2014 428i.. and beyond that, the engine note/exhaust sound WAY better in a 2014 as well. Though I doubt your wife will care about that.
