Car Won't Open

I have a 2002 745i and my car will not open. I tried the remote and it wouldn't work, the slide key wouldn't work either...i mean the locks didn't move or windows didn't roll down. The remote did unlock the trunk and i could see a message on the screen inside saying " the car will automatically go to park...". I unhooked the battery and tried took it to Autozone and they said it was charged at 100%...

So my car is locked and won't open at all...anybody got any suggestions please let me know.

Thanks

KC MACK

I wouldn't trust Auto Zone . You should try charging
your Battery or getting another one

Well Bimmerfest here's the latest...

I changed the battery and the doors still would not unlock. I just found out today that the Door Actuator is the problem. If i get this car opened today it will be my last day owning this car!!!

Car Won't Open

If it's a problem with that door, can't you get in from the other side?

Press and hold the unlock button on the remote and see if the windows roll down.

Re: Car Won't Open

The key why it can't open the door, is it the correct one? I am speaking about the manual key in the fob.

Re: Car Won't Open

That's strange cause the key, lock rod, door lever are mechanical. They should work even if the car has no battery

If you want to drive down I can scan your car & check
a few things for you that might have failed & caused
the car to not unlock .
