128i sat radio install

I have a 2009 128i base model coupe, no additional options.

I DO have the aux cable that plugs in under the armrest that you can hook up to an Ipod (aux on oem radio).

I am looking for a satellite radio solution that I can simply plug in to this aux/ipod cable. I want to be able to use that cable to connect to my oem radio and to supply power to the sat radio. Basically, I only want to deal with the 1 cable (plus an antenna, if necessary). I do not care about a clean install, as I plan to just leave it in the cupholder anway.

What do you all reccommend, please?

The different units are listed but it doesnt specify if they require the use of a seperate power cable versus using only the 1 aux cable.

You could have a BMW dealer install it just like if you ordered it. It's just some programming and a code. It costs about $350 and you get 1 year free.

I thought you had to have the sport package to get dealer installed sat radio, no?

So it looks like I can use my aux in cable and order one of these:

and use the USB port instead of the cig lighter for power.

Then I can use an Onyx or Edge radio and it should work out great.
