They may be part of the molding. (2) of mine came off earlier this summer but were still attached to the mounts. I took the entire molding off, sanded the areas and epoxied them back on. They are rock solid.

I just bought the car from a friend. He lost the 2 pieces that fell off. Now I'm try to located spares I replace them.

They look like the clips that attach the side skirts to the body. If so, the BMW dealer sells them for about .75 a piece.
