iPhone Crade: good?

Does the iPhone cradle improve your reception? The accessory details state that it connects the phone to the roof mounted antenna. How much of a difference does it really make? I'd be very interested from those of you who live/work/play in Los Angeles.

Not for me. Main advantage is excellent convenience and no cable to futz with. Car's USB connector famous for breaking.

When you leave, just pop it out, recharged. Plays music pretty good too.

Expensive, but what's your quality of life worth?

Even more doubtful that the Bavarian Elves would birth a solution for the E9X cars. The F3X is where it is at. E9X is last month's news.

Net-net, if you want to use the cradle for the E9X cars, you are looking at the iPhone 4/4S.
