They fixed the fuel pump issue. I am not too sure why they left that beautiful piece of machinery behind. Maybe they are using the N54 (with some upgraded internals ) for the upcoming M3 and were just planning ahead. My N54 was a love/hate relationship.
My last N54 had consistant issue ( fuel pump failures, water pump failure, turbo failure, transmission issues, DME replacement, replaced the bearing ledge, camshaft and finally the back window wouldn't stay up... That thing was officially a lemon, now when she was running properly she was a beast with catback exhaust and a full ECU remapping.
But my previous 2 were no where near as bad.

I had 3 trips due to injectors, other than that it was perfect.

It was more beneficial for BMW as the N55 is cheaper to build while maintaining the same power and torque numbers. It also supposedly yields a better torque curve (with a little better torque earlier in the power band). The Twin Power engines also add Valvetronic Variable Valve Lift. Perhaps one of the biggest reasons is that the N55 is going in the direction of BMW's efficient dynamics program.

Ahh, this is so true. Pho is also my go to hangover food. If you haven't had it after a night of drinking, you should give it a try.

Confirmed they send it with the car, so I should have them when the car gets here. Unless for some reason the PDC folks remove it which I don't think so :-)

I work until 730p on both days this weekend. I get off at 530p today. No pressure to wait on me if you guys want to meet earlier.
