Can't Combine Individual Composition with M-Sport Package!
Major bummer! I was in the process of configuring my 2013 535i with the newly available Individual Composition extended Merino leather, but when I then tried to select the M Sport Package, I got the following message
By adding this selection, you will also: Remove • 19" BMW Individual Light Alloy V-Spoke Wheels style 349-with performance tires • Individual Platinum Ext Lthr • Individual Door Sill Finishers • Anthracite Alcantara Headliner In other words, BMW is forcing us to choose between Individual Composition and M Sport. You can't have both! (Adding insult to injury, you can have both Individual and M Sport on the 2013 7 series, just not on the 5 series.) Arghhh! What were the folks at BMW thinking? Why can't I have Merino leather AND the M Sport Package? Last edited by Bradmeister007; 08-09-2012 at 01:31 PM. |

Call your CA, the configurator is not a reliable source of information.

I contacted BMW of North America and they confirmed it: you can't combine the M Sport Package and Individual Composition leather on a 5 series.

Did you ask for a quote for a special order? You can usually special order any Individual leather with any configuration. It will probably cost you $5000 for Extended Individual, and maybe $7000 for Full Individual.
