Strange Accellaration Noise and Shaky Idle
Hi There,
Bought my wife a 2006 E53 X5 last year december after blowing the motor on her Jeep 4.7 V8 Grand Cherokee. Had the X5 13 days when the vibration damper and main drive packed up. Had it replaced by the Dealers and got the X5 back to find the aircon not cooling anymore. Took it back and they replaced the aircon compressor. End of may had the whole front suspension replaced including bushes and wishbones or something. Also had a major service done at BMW Dealers. Got the car back and drove to the coast for anniversary next day. Two days later the tyres warning came on the whole time although nothing was wrong with any of the tyres. Drove back home on the 4th day and half way back about 300km the x5 started shaking when idling. Last week the idling all of a sudden stopped shaking and got a noise when accellerating. Almost like water or air being forced through a small pipe. Even sounds like wheelspin on dirt road although i'm on tar. Today the brake warning/abs and 4x4 warning lamp came on and computer showed DSC/4x4 Failure. Weirdest thing as the car still feels fine when driving except for noises and warning lamps. Guess I will have to take it to the dealers to be ripped off again. Can someone just guide me to what this can possibly be, because they see me coming from a mile away. Thanks very much.
