Hello everyone! This is my first BMW. It is my first import. My first car was a 1955 Ford that last one month. I have driven Chevy/ GM ever since. I won't bore you with why I decided to switch from domestic to foreign. I have my reasons.

So far I am very pleased with this car. I finally figured out that I should focus on the x5 (E70) forum. There are a couple of features I'd like to better understand. Hence the reason for jointing. I believe in forums. I am a member of the Corvette forum and have gotten considerable DIY help fixing and modifying my cars. I don't plan on doing any heavy modification to this car, but who knows.

If I can figure out how to post photos, i will show how I modified the removable phone adaptor plate to make it useful as a tray for loose change, pencil holder, etc. Why BMW didn't do this, is a wonder.
