Bmw e34 washers
Hello, Can any body help with this?........
I recently had to move the washer fluid resevoir to gain access to an awkward screw on the headlights. I have since moved it back to its correct position but the washers are not working properly? The spray is weak and the motor is making a high pitch sound? Any help would be much appriciated ![]() Thanks |

might have run out of water. also i think the stock E34 is the same setup as E30s in that the motor is mounted on the side of the washer bottle? make sure this is sitting down snug.

Could be the nozzles finally plugged up too. It's kind of a drag to detach the hood liner, but it's worth giving a full check-out of the entire plumbing if time permits.

If you find that your jets on the hood are clogged get yourself a needle from an accupuncture practitioner and clean out. Works great.

If the motor is making a high pitched whir then it is starved of fluid.
Make sure there is something in there and that their are no blockages. |

Sometimes, they can be truly stuffed and just need to be replaced.
