it's a m60b30 (3.0) V8, I have a m60b40 (4.0) V8 and I get about the same mpg at that speed, I get about 18-19mpg in mixed driving if I don't get too pedal happy

I can average 28.5 ish babying, but my actual average is around 22-24 depending. That's with no freeway driving, about 40% city the rest backroads.

The m30b35 isn't a v8,but yes I do love german engineering. My 302 in my ford truck only gets like 14-16 city and maybe 20-22 hwy.

LOL at andy, and i really have toooo be an ass too average 15....again that's averaging. I don't doubt it gets bellow 8 at times. Also if makes a difference it probably needs new injectors, and fuel filter.

Update if anyone cares. I found out I average about 18.5 mpg to work.... I'd say It's 60% city now that I think about it nothing over 45mph. I only got 28 with a lot of highway speed. Which is funny because my buddy and I drove his new to him 525 up from Texas averaging 24-25 mpg and other than stops we didn't really go bellow 85
