I'm all WTF n' $h!t. I guess the Giants didn't get the memo about SF being the top team this year.

Giants clearly won on both sides of the field today I was that the game is a blowout and the giants were able to run the ball effectively in the 2nd half

The league continues to think Eli is a fluke. It works to his advantage. The teams think the can take Eli lightly then he picks them apart. He made some amazing throws to Hixon and Cruz yesterday. Alex Smith was asked to pass when the run game was dead and this is not what Smith does well. The Giants had a good game plan. They basically said, let's make Smith beat us. I also liked how Wilson played. He's turning into a very nice asset on kick returns. Now we just need some division wins. Next week is a big a week.

Eli best strength is that he can make anyone around him better and he is willing to sacrifice stats or fantasy points to succeed

100% agree! He's had a bunch of no-names at TE that have come and gone. WR's have largley been a bunch of low draft picks that he developed and made into play makers. I hope this Niners game sets them on a long winning streak. Although they seem to do their best when they enter the playoffs as a Wild Card.

It is so much fun watching this years Cowboy failures. They continue to pull defeat from the jaws of victory. I wonder how they will give the game to Carolina?

Giants looked great. Had to fathom that they would dominate at SF.

This year's NFL varies so much week to week. Hard to figure what teams are ready to play. I guess Any given Sunday remains alive and well.

I was so surprised by the margin of victory. Didn't expect that at all. I was expecting a score of 9 to 6...like a Steelers/Ravens game.

Quote:
Manning threw for 193 yards and one touchdown, Ahmad Bradshaw ran for 116 yards and a score and New York (4-2) rode a dominant defense and four fields by Lawrence Tynes to hand outspoken 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh the most lopsided loss of his tenure.

I have a weird superstition that running up the score against weak teams leads to bad karma. You end up overconfident and get the comeuppance from the strong teams.

Previous two games were 34-0 and 45-3.

Interesting theory. Just the type of thing I would expect from someone in your home

I turned the game off at 24-0. Didn't think Turkey Neck had it in him for a comeback....

Holy $h!t. Weak tea indeed. Did you watch the game against Buffalo? The 49ers were celebrating their last couple of TDs like they were winning the Super Bowl. Show some class I say. Put in the rerserves when it's 4th quarter and you're up 24-3. Maybe some of those players would get needed experience that might help against, oh, I dunno, the NY GIANTS. Instead the Niners scored 3 TDs and, oh boy, record yardage.

It was clear that Buffalo wasn't going to dig themselves out of that hole. I like Harbaugh's coaching all in all but he's sort of an ass.

Remove "Sort of" out of your post and you'll be correct on Harbaugh. His older brother is a great guy, this one not so much,.

I swear, in his press conferences he comes off like an actual pinhead half the time.

He's very unprofessional. Running scores up, refusing to shake hands with other coaches after games, etc etc. His actions on the field define the sterotypical behavior of his generation. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it!
