Adaptive suspension while on Eco Boost

I noticed that if I press the button to enable the adaptive suspension while in Eco Boost, it turns Eco Boost off. Does the dynamic suspension use more gas? I thought that was odd. Also, why doesn't the car remember if you have the suspension enabled rather than having to turn it on every time you start the vehicle (like ASS, Sport mode, etc). If it somehow used more gas then this would make sense.

What button are you referring to? I wasn't aware there was a button just for Adaptive M suspension. Perhaps that is a 2013 feature?

BMW F30 DSC off

The button that says "off" turns off traction control and, I believe, turns on the adaptive suspension. Do you have a sport+ mode in addition to sport? The sport+ on the 2013s does the same thing, while remaining in sport mode.

Adaptive M suspension is always "on". When you put the car in sport or sport+ the dampening gets more aggressive to make the car stiffer. Turning off the dynamic stability control puts the suspension in the default mode, which is softer then sport or sport+.

The adaptive Suspension is Always on. The only thing you can adjust is the stiffnes. This is done through the different modes.

I see. I still find it odd that turning off the traction control while in Eco Boost turns off Eco Boost.

Why? Eco Pro is for high efficiency driving. What would you need traction control off for in that mode?
