The 328i is the better car. While you'll get some cred from the midlife boys here, in the end its going to cost you $100 a month more than you're paying now all-in with fuel, and you won't have xenon's.

Do what you know is right. You got the 328i for a reason, remember? It's a better car. A half a second in 0-60 time you'll recognize once a year just isn't worth it.

wrong in a few different areas here.

First, i could care less what others think about me, i am driving around in halogens after all

second, i am very good with my fuel, right now i pay about 70bucks a month in fuel

3rd, the 335 actually comes with xenons standard, along with bigger brakes, alarm and some other **** i will probably never use

I got the 328 because i needed it at the moment, i ordered the car way back in november. I have loved the 328 and dearly enjoy driving it, but this opportunity to jump into a well specd 335 for the same price i am paying for my 328 just me to good a deal to pass up.

the gm at my dealer is not in until friday, so i have some time to sleep on it, but as of right now i am leaning to the 335, but i know how good the 328 is, even is certain 335 owners want to talk it down.

Thanks. I incorrectly assumed these were cars in stock at the dealer. Yeah, 335 MSport!

Good choice, I know you will enjoy it. I know I'm enjoying mine without any regreats except for the brushed aluminum trim that gives off sun glare at times I got over 5,000 miles on the 335i and I'm getting use to the glare a little at a time. Good luck, enjoy
cheers

Shhhhh. Don't confuse BJ please he knows everything. He also knows everything. The xenons that come standard with the 335i are not truly the real deal in BJ think because you didn't have to pay for them. In BJ think, they are halogens.

Justin congrats you made the correct choice. Every time you press on that right petal and you hear that wonderful turbo 6 and the twin bazookas at the back singing to you think of it as reward for you patience. I have to point out however you should have dropped another thousand for the dynamic handling package. Its a must have.

So long as it has the xenon's you have my permission to get an M335i.

I'd avoid the blue interior trim as its very distracting and will get tired very quickly.

Not sure how much time you spent in your F30 before lemoning it, but I've got 1,000 miles in a week on my odometer and that strip really stands out in the car's interior.

You have Mineral Grey on the exterior, there is no blue anywhere else. That strip in the sport model is designed to pull a bit of the exterior into the interior. Blue doesn't work. Gloss black does.

BJ

Wow! I find myself agreeing with BJ.

Strip feels cool right now but in a week, it's going to feel like a tatto you got in vegas when you were hammered...a la Hangover style.

You made a Wise Choice !! Is it too late to order the Dynamic Handling Package ? If not, I would agree with what the previous poster said , it is well worth it !!! If it hasn't gone into production, check with your CA , You won't regret it. Especially in an M Sport. Congrats ++++

I was thinking about msport, but i would want it in the stiffest setting all the time and from my understanding it wont be in eco pro mode.

I have always enjoyed bmw passive suspensions.

Just go with Estoril Blue as your exterior color and it will look fantastic.I haven't checked the ordering guide but are you able to order piano black trim?In my opinion it would look better than the aluminum. You made the right choice in going with the 335i M Sport.

My 328 had the steering vibration issue. My dealer is taking the car back and putting me in another car. Somehow they were able to work out the numbers so the 335 i am getting into will cost less per month than my 328 is currently costing me.

^I am really torn between mineral grey and estoril blue. one second i am saying"that blue is such a hot color", the next second i am thinking just go with mineral grey.

Part of me thinks the blue might be a little to flashy for me, every car i have owned has been black, silver, grey....

Also worried about possible attracting to much attention(cops, thieves, dbags)

Going to call the GM monday and let him know of any changes i want to make.

right now i am 50/50 on the color. they had a 328 in estoril blue and it is gorgeous.

Another update lol

So, after going back and forth, i decided to switch from mineral grey to estoril blue

Now i am just deciding on the Mperformance exhaust, probably going to get it just thinking on it. also got the port installed black grills.

The fact that xenons (or even HIDs) are not standard on every single new BMW in 2012 is an abomination. I guess women don't care.

halogens get the job done for 1000 less. Unless you are worried about how people will think of you for having halogens on a bmw, which it seems everyone on this forum is.

I couldn't care less how they look to other people. Xenons are much brighter with a greater viewing radius than halogens. They last much longer than halogens. Also, the BMW xenons are adaptive meaning they shift up, down, left or right depending on the degree of your turn or the grade of the road. All of these features combined make a huge difference. Also, angel eyes are sexy.

Not to mention, the M-Sport look is great, very appealing. You seem to be a bit concerned about the money, so the more fuel-efficient engine will help in the long run too. A bunch of people will come after me for this, that's expected. Read this thread thoroughly, it will help you make that 328i decision very easily:

Congrats!

Agree with you.I made the same choice.I got the 328i m sport line full loaded instead a 335i or 528. I m on budget. prefer a full loaded 328.better fuel economy. the 335 has really nice exhaust great horse power.but it also waste gasonline. don't hit me guys. i m really not a racing fan...also not a rich man.enjoy ur bmw.just pick the one you loved.

I just came back from Fla. to NJ 1170 miles in my 2012 335i Sport avg MPH 66.7 at times 85 MPH, MPG 33.9. So I guess if the 335i wastes gas at 33.9 MPG something must be really wrong with the car and worth looking into.
cheers
