Center Screen & Presets

I need some help. A few days ago I get into my car and all my presets are going are the number keys that I had set are no longer set. So I set everything again and when into iDrive and checked Presets and everything showed up in the center display (by the tach and speedometer). Next day I get in my car. Start it up, scroll the thumb wheel and my presets are there, once the nav finishes loading up the presets in the center screen go away and it says NO ENTRIES EXIST and it is listed as satellite radio. Once i hit radio on the idrive control the presets pop back up in the center screen. I know this is weird but any idea?? iDrive is always checked with presets and it is not that. ???? Help?
