BMW X6 Trailer Hitch?

Anyone know where I can buy a trailer hitch other than a BMW dealership? Its 500 dollars + 4 hours installation so thats about 1100 dollars. Then I got to get the bike and snowboard installation. I saw http://store.uhaul.com/hitches.aspx?id=16 , but i dont know how it would look. Anyone know where I can get one for cheap?

Can you please send me a quote for your hitch for 2009 X6 50i w/auto rear leveling? Also, can the ball be removed when not using or is it always there and look like the one in the 2nd pic above? Does your hitch also included the hookups for braking lights?

The execuhitch invisihitch for the x6 does indeed have the removeable ball assembly for the times you are not towing.
The hitch assembly is $810.00 plus $69.00 for either a 2 inch or 1 7/8 inch ball and plate assembly and/or $69.00 for the 2 inch accessory adaptor.
Shipping handling, and insurance typically runs $70.00. If the install is done in our facility in roswell (north atlanta) ga labor is $180.00 and no shipping charges.

Customer Service says that they have a hitch that fits the X6, but I can't order through the website because it isn't there. Anybody else actually order and install one of these recently?

Will post good pics/video once invisi-hitch and car arrives, so there won't be any question about the X6 and the best trailer hitch option.

Just wondering how you made out with this? I just picked up my 2013 X6 and was thinking about getting a Hitch installed. I'm located in Rochester, NY. -Dave

How about the hybrid? Can it still be installed?

DIdn't - You have to CUT the lower bumper fascia, decided to wait until a pre-fabed replacement bumber fascia is made.
