replacement battery for my M62

Hi guys,
I need a replacement battery for my 740i M62.
But because I just need it to start the car a couple of times and not as a daily driver, I am looking for the cheapest one. Autozone does not have the 49-DL longer in stock, so has anybody suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Frank

But they do have the Duralst H8 and the Duralast 95R/H9.

Look for any battery brand that sells a 49/H8 or 95/H9 battery...those are the battery class size that you need. The specs may vary somewhat but those are the BCI group for our BMWs.

Advanced Auto/Walmart/Batteries Plus/O'Reilly's/Pep Boys/NAPA/AutoZone/Sears/Interstate Batteries...are a few names that come to mind that sell 49/H8 & 95/H9 batteries...call around if you want to price check. The 95/H9 batteries are going to be the most expensive...so you may want to limit your search to the 49/H8 battery class size to stay in the lower price range.

Good luck...and don't forget to check that you get a VENT KIT if you purchase a top side venting battery. You'll need that vent kit to be able to hook up to the car's vent tube.

Re: replacement battery for my M62

I'm pretty sure I have one of each. And both work fine. One came out of my Mercedes w140 and used it in my $600 e38 and its worked fine.
