Z3 Roadster (E36/7) You're under 45 and own a Z3?

In our group in New Jersey/PA there are several of us under 45. Me as stated above as well as 4 others I know of. Hopefully some more of us will make it to ZFest. Not saying we don't get along with the older set (Which we do very well) It would be great to cover all age groups!

37, bought mine almost 12 years ago. Sold it last year, but am responding anyway because I still miss that car. But, when I ended up paying ~6k for a couple years in a row for repairs (who knew the compressor, condensor AND evaporator would go out simultaneously!? Even the mechanics couldn't believe it), well, I figured it needed to go.

I'm 24, I bought my z3 as my birthday present to myself haha I love the way these cars look. The long hood wide body. Now I just need a hard top for it, I'm not a convertible fan.

34 now, bought my Z4 in the spring when I was a mere 33, should have done this years ago instead of buying the V8 A6 I previously had.

I'm 42, purchased my new when I was 30, now its time for it to go!

I am turning 40 in a few days and I own a 2000 BMW Z3 for 3 years now. I love driving this car!

Im 30 now and I bought my 2001 z3c in 06 when I was 24.

42 , bought the Z3 coupe when I was 29 & single..lol

Bought my z4 when I was 25. Now it's in my driveway broken because that's what bmw's do.

There is no poll option I guess?

Well, I will put in my vote as 43 (although I bought it at 42 but turned 43 a week later) and 2007 Z4 coupe.

Im 16 and went in 50/50 with my parents on my Impala Brown Z3 2.5i. Best $2500 ive ever spent.

I'm pretty sure the OP is interested specifically in Z3 owners. The Z4 is an easy sell to the younger generation but the Z3 less so.

34 here; but I bought my 99 Z3 coupe from a guy over 60 years old.

Bought my first Z3 (1997 2.8) in 2000 at 24 as a B-day gift to myself - great car and lots of memories, but I sold it earlier this year and then a 2-weeks later bought a 2000 M Roadster... B-day gift to myself again!

I'm 34 and I bought my S54 M 8 years ago to replace my S4.

The S4 was fun and all... but it fun and utilitarian. It was "serious" The roadster however is good-grief-loads-of fun.

39 (almost) and had my Z3 2.8 1999 for 9 years now.

Bought it second hand for £16,000.

I recently had some thoughts about trading it in to get a Boxster S.....then again....nahhh.

LOVE IT

At 43 I was able to save a great 2001 Z3 3.0 from certain death by crusher. The previous owner ran it extraordinarily hot and you know what happens then!!!!! If I had known how great these cars are I would have had one years ago. I bought this one for the wife but I am now looking to add another one to the stable for me!!

Bought my Z3 6 months ago at 38...really missed having a ragtop and when the opportunity came up I went for it...I actually had just been wanting another convertible in general. I do notice other Z3s and Z4s now that I have one.

I need a universal sign for "why the heck is your top not down?" to flash at them ;-)

Bought my Z3 in 2008 my senior year of highschool when I was 19, I'm now 23 and I've paid her off in full.

She's come a long way since then, and I've been showing her nothing but love ever since. Both on the road and in the shop.
