Can someone find an option for a longer period of remembering the status of the heated seats.
Someone say that is in the modul : SM ; 3000 SM_GLOBAL, 06 ; SA_MEMORY_ZEIT ; default is wert_15 (15 minutes) other options are wert_00 (never remember), wert_Dauer (remember forever) or Werte=2 (for 24 hours). But in F10 model it is not SM modul and I can not find in any other modul same option. |

@ello888;
I don't think you can create a CPS as it is written at the end of the Coding Operation: The coding proof stamp (CPS) serves the purpose of documentation of coding operations on codable control units. The CPS value corresponds to the last seven digits of the VIN of the vehicle order used to code a control unit and is written automatically to a control unit at the end of each coding operation. Function read CPS reads the CPS from control units. The SVT tree must be populated and at least one control unit in it must be marked at Basic Variants level for this. The result of the read-out operation is displayed as ASCII string (e.g. [RH09567]) behind the diagnostic address of the basic variant in square brackets. Alternatively, this function can also be applied to a total vehicle electrical system. For this purpose, mark level ECU in the SVT tree and then trigger the CPS determination process with button read CPS. Only control units having the SGBM process class CAFD for coding in the SVT tree are read out. If all CPSs have been read out, the user can check whether all codable control units have been coded to match the vehicle in which they are fitted as well.

Is there any risk that activating FA and coding an FDL will result in my Dinan programming being compromised?

No, there should not be any issue. 1) By activating your FA, you are not altering your VO 2) Dinan is not an OEM option, so there is no Option Code for any Dinan after market upgrade in the VO if your were to alter it. I would just avoid the DME if I had a Dinan tune. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about coding any other modules.

Great. I did the HUD turn signals. I am going down to the garage to code a bunch of other things now. Took me a while to scan this thread for the TPMS code but I got it now. really need the new Cheat Sheet since the v2.0 is really missing a ton of stuff.

@Dreamcar,
So you got SLI working 98% of the time? What finally was it that made it work?

Yes... It did but reads a specific sign.. And i can guess it 98% of the time that it will pick that sign.. Let me find that sign and post it here... is not the speed sign .. it is basically road sign...
Initially it is used to pick both road signs and Speed limit signs but the probability is around 50% now it read all road signs... |

Hans i posted the the details in the above post.
Now it wont read any speed limits that the bad thing ... Good thing is i can guess when it does... next thing is too activate the CEH and see what ever it is reading will stay in... And yes i know you want to know what i have changed honestly i am not sure which change has actually triggered.. I am gonna post all the values i changed... other thing is the signs i posted above are very less in number near by my home... I drove to Delaware which has these signs ...huge number of them! yes they are similar to European signs! |

Model: 2012 550i
Build Date: Sep 30, 2011 Delivery Date: Oct 17th Status: NOT WORKING Did you ever change the tires: Yes Tires changed by Ind Shop/Dealer: Ind Shop Tires: Michelin Pilot Super Sport (same size as OEM non RFT) Air: Normal Air Hyptohesis: I wonder if the tire shop applied a TPMS rebuild kit when changing the tires. This is not unusual. Alex_C also has changed his tires and he may have encountered the same thing at the tire shop. I suggest adding question, were tires changed at dealer?
