The only thing that is not awesome about this is that they don't give you the take-off parts. That is punk-@ss IMO.

Yeppers, the additions can be made right up until the vehicle arrives for distribution to dealer.

I agree, because I'd like to roll these items in to my purchase.
However, I think I'll go for post-delivery purchase. That way I've got some very lightly used parts to sell and recoup some of my cost.

The only things on that list that have resale value are the wheels. The other parts probably are not worth the trouble.

I am sure there will be a way to residualize a portion of all of the carbon fiber bits. You can bank on it. The BBK I am not so sure about...

Quick question john(sorry for all the questions, but you seem to be the only CA that knows what they are talking about lol)

You mentioned that of the $1375 for Performance exhaust, 400 gets residualized. What does that mean? Does that mean 400 can go into the lease and i would have to pay 975 out of pocket? or it all can go into the lease and my monthly payment would just increase by like 38bucks?

Thx in advance for all the help!

PE is listed $1,335 installed. I am sure one can get a little bit of discount when ordering.

I just listened to the F30 335i PE sound clips, not as good as the PE for E90 335i. PE for 328 is more value since the stock 328 has no exhaust note to speak of.

So the questions are still out, does 328 get PE? Is Sport line or M sport required before ordering the performance parts?

Unfortunately, no PE is offered for the 4-banger at this time...

That sucks about not PE being available for the 328. Im going back to my dealer tomorrow, if i can add PE for only like 35bucks more a month i might jump on it.

Oh well, I didn't really hold my breath, thanks.

If I end up going 335i, I will stick to the stock exhaust, just the right amount of noise for me.

Interior trim pieces resell well. If one was to get hex aluminum with Msport, I'm sure someone will buy if you wanted carbon fiber and alcantara M Performance interior bits.

Good point Jon mentioned it also. Maybe install them at the dealer is a better way if you want to save the parts. Now if this program applies to a base no-line model, there would be less reason to keep the parts.

Unfortunately, yes. I almost got the CF mirror caps but figured they'd be a potential target for thieves...

The pia program is really good... I have added a lot of black kidney grills, alcantara steering wheel inserts, lighted door sills and a few exhaust systems.. Then fist two items are the most common and the pricing is very reasonable.

Is there a official BMW announcement or bulletin? My sales consultant seems to be clueless and says this is not possible. Apparently I have to order and have it install at the dealer.

Crossing my fingers on a residual for the BBK.

To lose the stock ones and not at least get their value written off is lame sauce!

Looks like a program mainly aimed at lease customers.

I am hoping they add PE for 328i soon.

Hi Greg -

Do you have any port install pricing for satellite radio activation on the F30? My dealer is quoting me $419. I've read in other threads that it is $250. Is there official documentation about the port install program?

Very cool options, a few questions:

1.Are the MSRP prices of PIA options negotiable to invoice?
2. For PIA carbon fiber trim and wheels and brakes, do the customers keep/get the OEM parts for future resale or swap?
3. Does M-performance brake system require sports line/M-sport and at least 18-inch wheel? Does the package include both front and rear calipers+pads+discs?

Question, were the MSRP on these increased recently? I'm now seeing MSRP for the following:

Z10 Performance exhaust: $1635 now vs $1335 before
Z4A M Performance Power Kit: $1730 now vs $1170 before
Z06 Black Kidney Grills: $200 vs $173 before

Can Jon or Greg or someone else confirm this price change?
