2002 745li Ballast Replacement procedures

Hi- I have a 2002 745li that i'm replacing the low beam ballast. need assitance and guidance on how to proceed.. Do I need t emove bumper or not..

Yes you will need to remove the bumper cover. It's actually a fairly easy job and if you search the threads here you will find a step by step on how to do it. I have a 2002 745i and have removed the cover a few times to upgrade the lights/ballast. The cover is neoprene and weighs about a 2 lbs. You will need a TORX screw driver set.
