Bosch (4417) FGR7DQP Platinum +4 Spark Plug for $1.72 ea (after MIR)

I just noticed that the Bosch plugs have a MIR at Amazon and you can get these for $1.72 ea.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I recently replaced mine with NGKLaser Platinum Spark Plug (BKR6EQUP) from Adv Auto for about $9 ea but thinking of buying this set from Amazon for the next change.

If I decide to sell, a prospective buyer can find it appealing to have some replacement parts too and I have gathered some already including a spare 3rd brake light socket & bulb.

Unless you come across a buyer that will never touch a Bosch +4 because they claim the prongs break off, back out or idle worse than NGK.

Disclosure, I've had Bosch +4 for 30k, no issues whatsoever. (so far).

Here is what I read somwhere (and once I recall, I can post it):
BMW uses both NGK & Bosch 4 prongs plugs.
The NGK 4 prongs are identical to the BWM NGK 4 prongs (same p/n).
The Bosch 4 prongs are NOT identical to BMW Bosch 4 prongs, although the p/n is the same. Something to do with certain specs maybe, I can't recall exactly. But it came from a BMW employee.
That's the reason (apparently) why the Bosch 4 pronged plugs have issues some time.

The previous owner installed these plugs in my car.
They worked great for the last 50K miles.

I stay away from bosch plugs. Ive had baaaad experience with them. Nothing broke off of them or anything its just vehicles Ive put them in ran like crap. Ive tried normal, 4 prong etc in difference cars and trucks always had to replace them so I wont buy them anymore. Just my 2cents worth from running them.

I've had Bosch 4 prong plugs in my car for the last 40K no problems at all.

There are two types of Bosch Plus 4 plugs. The ones specified by BMW have much heavier electrodes than those shown here on Amazon.

I once installed a set of the ones pictured, and, in 10k, the electrodes on two of the plugs had vaporized.
