Boging down
My 1993 325i has started to bog down when I turn on the A/C. Sometimes it will run fine and other times bog. I have noticed it has been turning over slow when starting. I had the charging system and battery checked out and was told everything is fine. Do you think a bad connection in the battery cable would case this? I had the same problem happen last night without the A/C on.
Thanks you your help. |

Bogging sounds like the idle speed control is not responding to 'idle up'. Remove it and clean with carby cleaner. Check it for electrical problems. Slow starter - try inspecting every battery cable, joint and earth and remake any joint that is even slightly suspect. Dont forget engine to chassis earth.
