e21 potential purchase

So Im new on this forum.. but I've been looking at getting an e21. BUT I have one problem with this car.. the current owner says that the left side front frame rail is starting to sag... im not entirely sure what he means.. but is this a common problem with e21's? is it just rusty? I can weld in reinforcements.. but i would have to drive it about 500 miles before I can fix it.. should i take the risk?

this sounds like a car you should walk away from. it would just be better to keep searching for one with no frame and rust problems.

If the description is 100% accurate then just remember it as a potential parts car.
