New Wheels For My 335i xDrive! (Pics)

I finally got around to posting some pics of my new wheels. I'm running a square set-up, the rims are 19x8.5 and the tires are 235/40/19 Pirelli Cinturato P7 All-Season Plus non-run flats. I'm very pleased with how they look. The 19s fill out the wheel opening better and the 235 width is almost an inch wider than the 225s I had on my 18s, which gives the car a more athletic stance. Best of all, the ride is so much better with the non-run flats.

Looking good! Just today I placed an order for Conti ControlContact Sport A/S. Looking forward to replacing the run-flats this weekend! Was considering the tires you got but then decided to try a different brand.

Congrats the 442M look AWESOME!!! Where did you get them? Dealer quoted me $2800 for rims alone, will have to pass at that price. If I do them I am doing a staggered summer only setup.

Thanks. They are 442M-style, but they are replicas. The brand is Stuttgart.

EB, I like those wheels a lot! Definitely makes the car look sportier. Reminds me of an M style wheel as well. I may have just found what to ask santa for this year...

voip, my dealer wouldn't even quote me a price. Ouch, $2800 for rims only.

hook... Why would anyone pay more for replicas? For a new wheel style perhaps, but replicas? You know I'm just messing with you, man

The main problem I see with these is that by default they want you to go with 9.5" rears and 8.5" fronts. That is way too wide and will possibly result in some rubbing and will definitely stick out of the wheel wells too far on F30 series cars.

Thanks. eBay is definitely the place to go for OEM. I tried a few weeks ago and all the 442Ms were coming from the UK.

That's probably the reason. Personally I want a staggered setup if I am putting summer tires on, I think with the 9" rear the car has a more aggressive look to it. 9.5 though definitely too wide. If these guys are going to clone OEM wheels they should actually clone them.

Guys, Thanks for the compliments. I purchased the rims off Ebay. The transaction was very smooth. I paid $1,000 for the 4 rims, including shipping. The seller had no problem selling me four 19x8.5 rims for my square set up. I've had the wheels on my car for about three weeks and I can report back that I am very impressed with the quality of the rims and there are no vibrations whatsosever at high speeds. Since I lease my car, this price point made sense for me. I also spent an additional $1,250 for new tires and new TPMS. The total for the rims, tires and TPMS came to $2,250, not bad IMHO.

As I mentioned, I purchased four 19x8.5 rims and had them mounted on 235/40/19 all-season tires. The profile/stance is PERFECT. The car has a more aggressive and athletic look without the wheels sticking out past the fender openings. There is no rubbing. Also, there is no need for spacers with the above set-up. If you have AWD and want to run a square set up, I highly recommend the above rim/tire specs. You will not be disappointed!

My favorite F30 look!
First BMW on order: EB&SD 340xi M-Sport is still lacking black kidney grills, trunk spoiler and 442 wheels, because no PIA on ED and my ED is in December. I don't want to rent winter tires, as that would be costly since I'm staying two months and dropping off in Amsterdam.
Might very well go your route, except dedicate 18" 400 wheels to winter tires and run a square summer setup on the 442's.
Which spoiler do you have?

I have the OEM rear deck lid spoiler, which I had painted to match my car. I also have the OEM rear diffuser. Pics of both below:
