Good lease deal on small SUV?

Anyone know of good, cheap lease deals on any of the better small SUVs? The new Escape is really nice, but Ford sure isn't giving them away (lease terms are horrible). And the X1 is great but outside my budget for a 2nd car.

must it be an suv - would a crossover do? The nissan rogue prices lease deals were good 2 months ago - we bought one for mrs wyb, but they were offering silly low lease payments as well.

Instead of "renting" a car - find a nice older Escape for $7-9k and pay cash for it. Depreciation is a lot lower, you won't have another payment, and you can instead make a paymet to yourself to put money away. That's just my $.02 - I've never owned a car under warranty, or with a payment.
