95 325i brake knocking/clicking and squealing HELP!!!!

I have a 95 325i and when I hit the brakes no matter how hard or soft they make a loud squeal and they also make a knocking or clicking like sound which sounds like it could be coming from the right front but I'm nit sure any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated thanks.

The squealing would lead me to believe that the pads are worn down to the backing plate. The knocking could be from worn control arm bushings.

Either that or very cheap pads were used.

easiest way for you to narrow this down is to get up, go outside, jack the car up and pull the wheels off and look, you'll know if somethings amiss there. or at the very least you'll see how little pad you may have left and the condition of the rotors and such hardware.

pulsation is your rotors being out of round... so there's a pretty good chance you need to change the pads and rotors... you can't see if the rotor is warped with your naked eye.

thread in one of the wheel studs a little then whack the back of the tire really F-ing hard with a mallet or hammer or your foot... it'll pop off. sounds to me though like your brakes are friggen toast man. take pictures when you get the wheel off.
