Leaving for Munich in less than 24hrs!!
Pretty much can't think about anything else...pretty excited...not sure if I'm prepared enough but I have Rolf picking me up and my Dad and I are going for the week. Weather looks like it should hold out

Be sure to rent some winter tires so you can enjoy the highways and byways. Have a safe trip. It's nice to hear about a father/son trip. I wish I could have done so with my Dad.

Enjoy. It is all great fun. Definitely check out a beer garden in Munich. I like the Augustiner in the center of the city. Others have enjoyed the Hofbräuhaus amongst others.
