With all that extra space..he can pack a few cans of fix-a-flat and an air pump though..newer cars that come with run flats have no spare tire, but have a fix-a-flat/air compressor kits where spare tires would normally be found..at least that was how my buddy's Challenger R/T came from the dealership

The final tips/product will look a lot more like Lalaray's setup. We're doing a rolled tip edge setup.

Yea i mean i dont see how the kit could be that bad? but then again i am Pro Umnitza (Bumpers, headlights) But most of yall probably just don't like how big and exposed the muffler looks on the left so its making it look weird.. but then again im confused of how the exhaust flow will be equal ? or even how it could add any HP......? or even how someone couldn't just do this there self ?

Eisenmann has a similar setup to this except the right side is just for show, no flow out of it. Pretty pricey for just show.
http://ind-distribution.com/catalog/...540i%5E140.php

Most of you guys don't know who K-Bud was over on Roadfly. He had a dual Eisenmann setup on his 540. The right side even had a plate that from the rear gave the looks of a muffler on that side. Umnitza, you guys need to do something like this too.
Here's a pic I took of his right side showing what should be done to it to get some exhaust flowing out of it.

So Umnitza, how much for your version?
4-7HP more......???

Its too rice to have a non functioning dual exhaust! Stop this nonsense!!! You'd all bitch at the guy with the muffler insert making his car sound turbo'd this is the same thing! Lalaray that's a cool setup even if you cant rock a spare. That's what AAA or insurance is for anyway.

The exhaust is functional on both sides, the video we took - not very good - shows the 'smoke' from both sides equally at the same time.

yes, install on our bumper is DIY except for the cutting of the pipe itself.
reason is, we've got couplers for all the connections. This one was a TEST only but the finished product will be direct bolt on minus the original cutting.

Props for being creative although I swear I saw something similar on eBay in the past. A bit too faky/ricey for my taste though.
I'll leave the quad exhaust for the M5.

I am the same way. I drive an i6 and not trying to fool anyone. Traditionally i6 motors have only one out. I like that look better for what my car is. IMO of course.

I'm not sure this was a serious comment, but that might actually look good if there is enough room to fab something there. I mean, unless I am missing something this quad exhaust thing is about aesthetics.

There are a bunch of people who have done a true dual exhaust system on non M e39s, but it requires cutting and reconfiguring the metal in the spare tire carrier area to have enough room to mount the second muffler. M5s don't have a spare tire that is why they have enough room for it from the factory.

Personally I think it is a little nuts to cut up the car to fit a dual exhaust. But then I also don't see why everyone wants a twin tip single side exhaust rather than a single tip. The M5 quad setup is nice, but so are single side twin tips or a single side single tip. I however do think exposed tips are way better than the OEM turn down nonsense. That is a nice thing though we all have different ideas about what makes these cars look good. I am sure plenty of people disagree with or have very different aesthetic ideas than I do.
I have quad exhaust on my 528i and all I did was smash in the spare tire well
