Ordering a 328i in San Diego soon

Hi all. I am doing a special order in San Diego soon. At best I seem to be seeing $500 over invoice without too much trouble. Anyone got invoice or better on a special order in San Diego on a 328i?

$500 over invoice is a decent price - these poor guys need to earn a living, too!

Yep, just avoid the sharks in San Diego. But also, don't price shop once you get a quote from Greg or Jon. The San Diego people will match their prices but in my opinion that's just not cool as Jon and Greg will not play games like Mossy, South county and (worst of all) BMW of San Diego. Greg and Jon will give you a good price immediately. Then take the train to Glendale or SB and enjoy a nice drive home.

+1 Totally agree.

I did check prices and when I told a several of local dealer the deal that I had gotten they almost always offered to match it. To which i enjoy telling them why would I do that? I even had one dealer tell me to support the "local dealer" to which my response was classic and I even shared it with Greg P, and I am sure this applies to some of the other sponsors.

I told them that for the exact same product he is offering an out of state CA dealt with me professionally, and offered me great service at a fair price while they "my local dealer" tried to take advantage of a mistaken presumption that I was an uneducated buyer and did not know what i should pay. Why in the world did they deserve my business? They responded with a line email "Point taken"

I think its important to compare prices, that way you know how good a deal the board sponsors offer the members. Just never give it to someone who will "just match" someone else - that just BS.
