Jumped Ship to Mercedes

Its been great on this forum, but I have jumped ship to Mercedes. Got rid of the E66 and bought a CL550.

What is the reason you sold your E66,CL550 is a nice ride but don't you miss the space

There is no comparison between the two cars. The E66 was great for its time, and yes, it had more room, but when buying cars at this level, who makes "logical" choices? It was either a Bentley, a Aston Martin or a CL. The CL is the most understated at that level of vehicle. Flash without the flash, if you will.

the CL550 is timeless. Actually all three generations of the CL i feel that way about.

Which year did you purchase?

I love the CL. I was looking at 04/05 CL500's when I was looking at 04/05 745's. I found myself lusting after the new CL's alot more though and went for my second BMW. I had a 01 740 before. Anyway. I think you made the right choice. The 550's are exactly want I want in another 2 years or so.

I must agree. The CL's are one of my favorite cars hands down.
