The QUEEN SAPPHIRE just passed under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge!

Saw it on a webcam earlier being guided by tugs. Should have my car next week!

Yea, I'm bummed... by the time i thought to look for the harbor cam it was too late.

We should be by next week or the following week for you depending on how far upstate you are.

I'm on the same ship. I bought my car from the Spring Valley dealership. My CA said he expects to have the car by Monday. I don't think that's an accurate estimate. Hoping to get it by at most Wednesday.

I deal with Wide World BMW (Spring Valley, NY) also, so it'll be sooner than if I had to wait for a transport up to the Albany area. Wide World is a stone's throw from the VPC in NJ.

Sometimes, the people in Spring Valley look longingly towards the boarder into BJ's neck of the woods... but those of us north of Bergen County just aren't worthy.

Update: My CA says my car is estimated to be delivered to the dealer from the VPC on 10/27.

FWIW, mine's journey is nearly over. We plan on picking it up tomorrow, only a week before yours.

By next week there won't be much left in the Adirondacks, however the Catskills and the Hudson Valley may still have some color left. I'm actually planning on cutting though the Catskills on the way home going north to cut back on the highway miles during those first 100 or so break-in miles. Should be a nice ride if I can keep my right foot out of it.

And congratulations! I'm sure you'll have plenty of nice weather down that way to enjoy your ride.

The Good News: Delivery scheduled for Monday morning (10/29).

The Bad News: The remnants of Hurricane Sandy will be hitting the Northeast on Monday and dumping record rainfall.

Oh well. The 130 mile ride home will be that much more interesting I guess.

Haha definitely removing that sticker ASAP! Thanks! Hoping the weather isn't too bad Monday for you.

This is it... delivery tomorrow. Hopefully the winds north of the NYC metro area will stay at bay long enough for me to get headed back toward Albany. We'll see!

I'm sitting at the dealership right now just waiting for the final paperwork. It's windy, but not bad here yet. Lower parts of NJ are getting some flood waters as are parts of Long Island. I'll be getting on the road in about an hour... shouldn't be too bad.

Mine is still sitting at the VPC NEW JERSEY, scheduled to leave 10/29 to ILLINOIS but I doubt it. VPC is probably under water by now.. YIKE ...

You'll be OK. The sales managers were discussing how BMWNA have closed operations and moved all the cars in NJ to protect them. They're taking every precaution.
