04 530i- crank no start

Hi, i own a 2004 bmw 530i. I am experiencing a issue with crank but no start. It started by starting fine at cold but when it would warm up and i would shut it off it would just crank and not start. If i let it cool down it would start right up and then do the same thing again. Any advice on what it could be?? I already replaced the fuel pump and crank sensor but crank sensor was not OEM

On other cars, I have seen faulty crankshaft sensor causing this problem.
Did you check if there are any diagnostic codes set?

There are no codes set. But thats what im mostly leading too is the aftermarket sensor being faulty since its not OEM.

Couple days after putting in the aftermarket crank sensor, now the car cranks but does not start at all.

Why not just return the aftermarket sensor and put an OEM sensor in there?

If it doesn't start after that and you can't pull codes then just flatbed the thing to a mechanic.
