New M3 Owner - warranty, part sites, etc...
Hello folks,
I'm on the process of getting a 2008 M3 Coupe 6speed w/59,500 miles. I have the option to get and extended warranty w/credit union (good warranty, platinum) but I'm not sure if I should or simply put the money into the loan. I will be using the car basically for weekends since I have a motorcycle for the everyday drive...Suggestions? How reliable are these cars at this mileage? Also, I'm getting it from a BMW dealer and record shows all service being done at the same dealer for the last 3yrs. Another question, what is a good website to buy parts for this car (I had a 911 and pelican parts was great..did a lot of work myself)...for example, I have been looking for a clutch just to have an idea of price and it is nearly impossible to find for this model/year. Thank you very much for your time!! Any suggestions, ideas, tips will be of great help!!! Cheers! Leonardo. |

Motor is solid.....it's the other stuff along with the labor that will get you. Buy a extended warranty or find yourself a really good indy. Also check out the locals at Houstonmclub.com ...............Phil
