Cpe N54 FMIC on 535xi?

Anyone install the cpe front mount intercooler on a 2009 e60 535 xi? Cpe said they had folks install them without any issues on 535i 2 wheel drive, but not sure on 535 xi all whee drive? Any help would be appreciated

Mein Auto: BMW 535i + 535XI wagon
His car is not Xdrive but it has no bearing. Same for RWD and AWD models.

Thanks Again Ocean, its been awhile since i've seen that and now that i look at those logs its more evident that 535 cars need meth, iat's are still a bit high for a 66 degree night.

The FMIC install on a 535i and xi is the same. You guys might also want to check out the Evolution Racewerks Competition Front Mount Intercooler BMW E60 535i/xi. They developed this FMIC and use it on their 135 race car which won tons of local races here in California. The ER FMIC is so efficient in cooling that it has cooled intake air temperatures (IAT) to almost ambient (outside) temperatures. The ER FMIC recovers so fast after a full throttle pull that once you shift, it recovers completely. This is why pull after pull, the ER FMIC does not have any heatsoak. Here's a comparison of the OEM FMIC (left) vs the ER FMIC (Right).



The ER FMIC does come with a replacement metal upper intercooler piping as well which is beneficial for improved airflow and cooling properties (most other systems either reuse the OEM plastic pipe).
